A bit about me

Hi! I'm Loz! If you know me at all, you will probably be aware that I have MANY passions and interests, including loving every animal under the sun, horse-riding, nature and the environment, fitness, my hobby farm, dancing, soccer, singing...yes. the list goes on! But two passions of mine that I really wanted to share with my community, were my passion for proactive health, and interior design. I've also always been a highly sensitive, empathetic soul and love understanding human nature, which drove me to gaining postgraduate qualifications in Psychology and Health Promotion. I also care about the world deeply and believe that it is our duty of care and in our best interests to be kind to our environment and the broader planet. Combining my passions, skills, natural attributes and beliefs led me to see that my superpower is helping others to transform their homes into safe, healthy, happy sanctuaries. This realization then spurred me to take my first step on my interior design journey, and ultimately led me to creating my own business, Moodi Interiors.

About Moodi

Creating one-of-a-kind, soulful spaces that are great for body, mind, soul and the environment.

My vision for Moodi Interiors didn't just happen overnight. It is something that took me YEARS to actually act on, partly because it meant I would have to completely change my longstanding career path, and partly because I was afraid to truly listen to my intuition and my calling in life. I forged a successful career in the corporate health and wellbeing field, and I enjoyed all the roles I was lucky to have but I always had this niggling voice that was telling me that I wasn't quite on the right path. When I look back, I was always drawn to interior design and being creative. It was a thirst I couldn't quench! I loved learning from other interior designers (my book collection is noteworthy!), and I was always busy restyling my home, decorating, pursuing DIY interior design projects and creating many-a mood board. Even as a primary school kid, I had an inclination towards creativity, colouring in patterns on my notebook borders and adjusting my presentation display stand (for the 50th time), until it felt just right. More recently, I successfully staged my previous investment property for sale and fully designed/ renovated our new home kitchen which was a big goal for me and made such a huge change to how we live and enjoy our home space. In 2025 I finally took the plunge, taking a year to study an accredited course in interior decorating, feeding my hunger for interior design and gradually evolving and finessing my interior design portfolio and skillset. Shortly after, I ventured on my Moodi Interiors journey, with a strong inspiration to help my community create soulful, authentic homes that are supportive and feel good. Moodi's design and styling approach embraces a mix of interior design styles and principals and applies evidence-based psychology and health practices as well an feng shui and layout considerations to ensure an intentional, purposeful and healthy space is achieved. Moodi also has a strong emphasis on sustainability and maintaining an environmentally conscious approach across projects and operations. Opting for sustainable, eco-friendly materials, furnishings and incorporating upcycled, vintage and second-hand items are examples of Moodi's dedication to supporting the environment. If you would like to work with us, we would love to support you on your interior project journey. We are always happy to take any questions and offer a complimentary discovery call to get the process started.
